Star Party
Join the Clovis Astronomy Club for a night of star gazing on September 7, 2019. This will take place in the visitor center parking lot at dusk. Regular entrance fees apply for non-annual permit holders. All ages are invited to attend. No pets will be allowed at this event. Bring your binoculars, telescopes, red lense flashlights, etc. if you have them and enjoy a night of learning under the stars.

Sugarite Canyon
Master of the Mountains
Challenge yourself in this fun, four-part adventure relay in the mountains of northern New Mexico. This annual event includes a 10K trail run, a 3-mile paddle course around Lake Maloya, a 20-mile bicycle route and a shotgun shoot. Much of the event takes place in Sugarite Canyon State Park. Participants are required to attend orientation the evening of Sept. 6, 2019. To register, visit ratonmom.com
