Oliver Lee
The Twins & Beehive
The constellation of Gemini was one of the original 22 constellations charted by the astronomer Claudius Ptolemy in the 2nd century AD. The stars Castor and Pollux represent the heads of the twins. The Beehive Cluster (M44) lies above the twins and is one of the largest open clusters to Earth. Join Oliver Lee Memorial State Park and the Amateur Astronomers Group for stories of the stars and views of deep sky objects.
