Disabled Veterans' Water Clinic
7th Annual "The Disabled Veterans" Water Sports Clinic and Adaptive Water Sports. Adaptive water sports for Disabled Veterans, Warriors in Transition and members of the General Public. Adaptive water sports to include: sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, water skiing, wake boarding and inner tubing. Most of the participants will camp on-site, some in local lodging facilities. Beach area directly below Group Shelter will be closed for special event.

Star Party
Join the Clovis Astronomy Club for a night of star gazing on August 8, 2020. This will take place in the visitor center parking lot at dusk. Regular entrance fees apply for non-annual permit holders. All ages are invited to attend. No pets will be allowed at this event. Bring your binoculars, telescopes, red lense flashlights, etc. if you have them and enjoy a night of learning under the stars.

Go for the glory in this tough, 15-mile mountain bike event at Sugarite Canyon State Park. This adventure race will include several trail challenges in the scenic mountains of northern New Mexico.
