Bottomless Lakes Triathlon
Established in 1984 at Bottomless Lakes State Park, this family friendly super sprint triathlon is great for first timers and loved by old timers. Race begins at 8:00 a.m. Lowest entry fees and FREE to athletes under the age of 18. Professionally timed. Enjoy the 1/4 mile swim in the clear spring-fed lake. Challenge yourself on the 8 mile hilly bike course. Finish strong with a fast and flat 4k run. Star Party
Join the Clovis Astronomy Club for a night of star gazing on July 11, 2020. This will take place in the visitor center parking lot at dusk. Regular entrance fees apply for non-annual permit holders. All ages are invited to attend. No pets will be allowed at this event. Bring your binoculars, telescopes, red lense flashlights, etc. if you have them and enjoy a night of learning under the stars.

Disabled Veterans' Water Clinic
7th Annual "The Disabled Veterans" Water Sports Clinic and Adaptive Water Sports. Adaptive water sports for Disabled Veterans, Warriors in Transition and members of the General Public. Adaptive water sports to include: sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, water skiing, wake boarding and inner tubing. Most of the participants will camp on-site, some in local lodging facilities. Beach area directly below Group Shelter will be closed for special event.
