PRELIMINARY DOCKET: Examiner Hearing for Thursday, October 08, 2020

Applications for hearing shall be filed at least thirty (30) days in advance of the hearing date. A party who intends to present evidence shall file a pre-hearing statement no later than the close of business on the Thursday prior to the hearing date and serve a copy on the other parties, if any. Applicant in the above-styled cause seeks an order from the Division: (1) establishing a standard 640-acre, more or less, horizontal spacing and proration unit comprised of the W/2 of Sections 14 and 23, Township 24 South, Range 31 East, NMPM, Eddy County, New Mexico, and (2) pooling all mineral interests in the Bone Spring formation (COTTON DRAW; BONE SPRING [Pool Code 13367]) underlying the unit. Said horizontal spacing unit is to be dedicated to the SND 14-23 Fed Com 001 P26 226H Well, an oil well, proposed to be horizontally drilled from a surface location in SW/4 SW/4 (Unit M) of Section 11, Township 24 South, Range 31 East to a bottom hole location in the SW/4 SW/4 (Unit M) of Section 23. The SND 14-23 Fed Com 001 P26 226H Well is the Defining Well for the HSU. Applicant also proposes the SND 14-23 Fed Com 001 P26 225H Well, an infill oil well, to be horizontally drilled from a surface location in SW/4 SW/4 (Unit M) of Section 11 to a bottom hole location in the SW/4 SW/4 (Unit M) of Section 23, and proposes the SND 14-23 Fed Com 001 P26 227H Well, an infill oil well, to be horizontally drilled from a surface location in SW/4 SW/4 (Unit M) of Section 11 to a bottom hole location in the SE/4 SW/4 (Unit N) of Section 23. Approval of surface commingling will be applied for administratively. Well No. 23H. FME’s spacing unit will be dedicated to the Kaston Fed Com 703H and the Bus Driver Fed Com 702H wells, to be horizontally drilled. The completed interval for Kaston Fed Com 703H well will be within 330’ from the adjoining tracts to allow inclusion of proximity tracts within the proposed standard horizontal spacing unit. The producing area for the wells will be orthodox. The completed intervals for the proposed Peregrine 27 Fed Com #702H well and the Peregrine 27 Fed Com #732H well will remain within 330 feet of the section line separating: (1) the W/2 SW/4 from the E/2 SW/4 of Section 27, (2) the W/2 W/2 from the E/2 W/2 of Section 34, and (3) the W/2 NW/4 from the E/2 NW/4 of Section 3, to allow inclusion of this acreage into a standard 640-acre horizontal well spacing unit.
