Cases Scheduled for Commission Hearing for Thursday, December 10, 2020

Below is a preliminary list of cases schedule to be heard at this OCC hearing. A party desiring to use projection equipment at the hearing shall contact Florene Davidson, OCD Clerk, no later than seven (7) business days prior to the hearing.

1. 21473 This is a de novo hearing application filed with the Commission from Order No. R-21433 issued in Case No. 21351. Order R-21433 granted the application of Catena Resources Operating, LLC for compulsory pooling, Lea County, New Mexico pooling all uncommitted interests in the Wolfcamp formation underlying a standard 640-acre, more or less, horizontal spacing unit comprised of the E/2 of Sections 19 and 30, Township 18 South, Range 35 East, Lea County, New Mexico. Said area is located approximately 22 miles West of Hobbs, New Mexico.
2. 21474 This is a de novo hearing application filed with the Commission from Order No. R-21434 issued in Case No. 21353. Order R-21434 granted the application of Catena Resources Operating, LLC for compulsory pooling, Lea County, New Mexico pooling all uncommitted interests in the Wolfcamp formation underlying a standard 480-acre, more or less, horizontal spacing unit comprised of the SW/4 of Section 33, Township 18 South, Range 35 East, and the W/2 of Section 4, Township 19 South, Range 35 East, NMPM, Lea County, New Mexico. Said area is located approximately 20 miles West of Hobbs, New Mexico.
3. 21475 This is a de novo hearing application filed with the Commission from Order No. R-21435 issued in Case No. 21355. Order R-21435 granted the application of Catena Resources Operating, LLC for compulsory pooling, Lea County, New Mexico pooling all uncommitted interests in the Wolfcamp formation underlying a standard 640-acre, more or less, horizontal spacing unit comprised of the E/2 of Sections 20 and 29, Township 18 South, Range 35 East, Lea County, New Mexico. Said area is located approximately 21 miles West of Hobbs, New Mexico.
4. 21476 On August 5, 2019, Salt Creek Midstream, LLC filed an application seeking authority to inject treated acid gas (“TAG”) from the Ameredev South Gas Processing Plant into the proposed Salt Creek Midstream AGI No. 1 Well (“Well”) (Case No. 20780). The Well is vertical with an approximate surface and bottom hole location at 594 feet from the West line and 2,370 feet from the South line of Section 21, Township 26 South, Range 36 East. The target injection zone for the Well is in the Bell Canyon and Cherry Canyon formations of the Delaware Mountain Group at depths of approximately 5,410 feet to 7,000 feet. On January 16, 2020, the Commission issued Order No. R-20913-C approving Salt Creek’s application. On September 17, 2020, Salt Creek filed an application (Case No. 21476) seeking an order amending Order No. R-20913-C to: (1) reinstate Salt Creek’s authorization to commence injection of TAG into the Well; (2) require Salt Creek to commence injection of TAG into the Well within two (2) years of issuance of a new order; and (3) require Salt Creek to submit a C-108 for a Devonian Well within six months after Salt Creek spuds the Well. This matter will be considered by the Commission on December 10, 2020.
5. 15855 Application to revoke the injection authority granted under SWD-1680 for the Alpha SWD No. 1 Well operated by Alpha SWD Operating LLC. Order No. R-14484 is an emergency stay order in effect for 15 days suspending SWD-1680
