Santa Rosa Lake (575) 472-3110
– Santa Rosa Lake State Park will close access to its boat ramp effective immediately. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers advised that low inflow of water combined with a planned release of water from Santa Rosa has drawdown the reservoir to extremely low levels. The closure will prevent property damage during launching and loading of boats; however, the lake remains open to recreation activities to include shoreline fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other paddle craft use. 6/18/2020 - ongoing

Ute Lake State Park is operating under reduced days and hours. No camping is allowed. The Logan Park area is open for day use activity daily from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. The North Area and Rogers Area are open for day use activity from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm from Friday through Sunday. The following areas in the park remain closed: South Side, Mine Canyon, Windy Point.
